Professional Background


Naomi has been licensed in seven states and served abroad with the Air Force. For three years she traveled as a social worker to various facilities throughout the country in need of social workers.
During her 17 years with the NYS Office of Mental Health, Naomi held numerous essential positions. She was contracted as an adoption assessor for the Erie County Surrogate’s Court and worked as a private clinician in Rochester, NY receiving referrals from leading physicians. After serving as the clinical director of an inpatient program for mental health and substance abuse in South Carolina, Naomi successfully established her private practice, where she provided in-home treatment services, garnering hundreds of referrals from the Juvenile Justice system and the Departments of Health and Human Services in the Carolinas.
Her extensive experience has provided her various training opportunities. In addition to being a certified trauma-informed clinician, she is certified as a Department of Transportation (DOT) Substance Abuse Professional (SAP). She is trained in Eye Movement, Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), trauma treatment; and has completed Level II training in Gottman Method Couple’s Therapy.
